Pizza Bros
Pizza for the Nostalgic
Two brothers opened the first Pizza Bros in Northshore in 2018. One of the brothers, Cal, has always worked with pizza and loved it. Other local pizza shops have helped him along his pizza chef journey and as Cal says “once a pizza chef, always a pizza chef.” His pizza passion led him to start Pizza Bros as a way to offer Chattanooga a great New York style pizza option that’s also downtown. They’re committed to having the best pizza in town with a heavy focus on quality and consistency in everything they make. Pizza Bros is best known for the $5 special which is a slice of cheese or pepperoni pizza with a pint of Bro’s Brew, a light lager made specifically for Pizza Bros restaurants.

Southside Pizza
Pizza for Scratch-Made Lovers
Southside Pizza opened in 2017 on Main Street in downtown Chattanooga. Long story short, the owners are a couple of friends that got together over good food. One has special dietary needs while the other is a chef and together they set out to make fresh food for people who struggle with dietary restrictions. Today you’ll find the people working at Southside Pizza to have a passion for pizza and making fresh ingredients for it. In fact, they even make their own sausage daily and slice the pepperoni. You also won’t find any cheap parmesan shakers here. Only the fresh stuff and most of the produce comes from local farms. This Chattanooga pizza is as fresh as it gets!

Lupi’s Pizza Pies
Pizza for the Free-Spirited
In 1996 the first Lupi’s Pizza Pies opened in downtown Chattanooga. The name Lupi’s was chosen as a play on the word “loopy” but spelled in an Italian way. It was the first Chattanooga pizza place to offer hand-tossed pizza and quickly grew in popularity. Everything is made from scratch daily. Being resourceful with the environment is very dear to the heart of Lupi’s. Most ingredients are sourced from their own local farm in season. And the food waste from the restaurants are fed to the pigs on the farm as well as compsted. They also love to support other local farmers understanding that community causes growth. Lupi’s has always sought to build community through their business and help the earth. Decades later, their mission remains the same as they work with other local businesses to promote the use of local produce and better systems for food and restaurant waste.

Community Pie
Pizza for Friends and Family
The Monen family opened Community Pie in 2013. They already had Taco Mamacita (tex-mex) and Urban Stack (burgers) and wanted to add a pizza restaurant to their list. The main mission for Monen family restaurants has always been to provide excellent service, plus great food, of course. With this in mind, they’ve created a vast genre of restaurants that allows for their employees to try something new but stay within the company. The goal with Community Pie is to offer more variety and something special. Authentic Italian Neapolitan, New York, and Detroit style pizzas really expand the possibilities. Paired with great customer service, you should have a 5-star experience that goes beyond your expectations.

Pizzeria Cortile
Pizza for the Community
Pizzeria Cortile really started as a food truck back in 2012. Justin Bennett wanted to have a bakery but quickly realized that pizza is less time consuming because it’s one type of dough to prepare instead of multiple. After a few years of gaining a reputation with the food truck wood-fire pizzas, he and his wife moved on to open Pizzeria Cortile in Red Bank. The goal has always been to bring the community together in this neighborhood. As Justin Bennett says, “pizza is my vehicle to people.” The restaurant design also pulls together the heritage of this family business from the recycled wood floors made into tables to the old, family farm trees turned into wood planking the walls and ceiling. This space is a blank canvas that is warm and inviting to anyone, and the pizza is no different. Pick any 12 inch Neapolitan style pizza flavor you like or customize to make it your own.

Fiamma Pizza Company
Pizza for the Purist
Look no further than Fiamma Pizza Company for the authentic Italian pizza experience. The owners, a father and son duo, both have a background in the restaurant business and want to keep their place family owned and focused. They are so serious about their pizza that the son even went to pizza school in New York to learn how to make true, Italian pizzas. Taking what he learned, they opened Fiamma and the rest is history. They currently use these learned techniques in their pizza making today, offering the wood-fire Neapolitan pizza as well as the deep dish Sicilian pizza. And they import as many ingredients as possible straight from Italy. The goal is to serve the most authentic, high quality Italian pizza in Chattanooga.
