The best part about this hike, besides its location in downtown Chattanooga, is the view. It boasts one of the best views of downtown Chattanooga from the observation platform. Rent a Bike and Ride the Tennessee Riverwalk
This downtown Chattanooga activity can be free if you already own bikes and have a way to transport them downtown. But if you don’t, renting bikes along the Tennessee Riverwalk is cheap and easy. With 13 miles of trail, this activity is perfect for couples who want to explore more of downtown Chattanooga. Stop by local restaurants or a coffee shop along the way to make it a full day. Take a Ride on the Coolidge Park Carousel
Who doesn’t love a carousel ride? You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this ride. But it’ll make you feel like a kid again which makes it a perfect activity in Chattanooga for couples. And the Coolidge Park Carousel is basically a museum and ride in one. There’s more than just basic horses on this one, and each of the 52 animals has a plaque below stating its name, artist, and year it was made. Plus you can’t beat the price.
