Is your sweet tooth beckoning for some goodies? Here are some Chattanooga sweet treats you can pick-up right now. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying these tasty desserts already and believe you’ll enjoy them too.
Noogarons
The classic french macaron has become quite the phenomenon lately. And you don’t have to travel far to get them. Better yet, Noogarons is local to Chattanooga and creates fantastic flavors right here in the Scenic City. She offers easy curbside pickup and her macarons are both delicious and well made. If you already love macarons, you need to try some Noogarons. I especially love how well she captures the perfect texture, keeping them delectable and together, not crumbling all over the floor. Of the few flavors I’ve tried so far, the toasted coconut is my favorite. I can’t wait to try more, especially the chai and coffee flavors. She is always testing out new and unique flavor combinations. And she loves using other local businesses for specialty ingredients, such as Mad Priest’s coffee or Bleu Fox’s cheese. Two places I’ve yet to post about on here, but trust me, they’re coming! Making the perfect macaron is an art-form that Noogarons has surely figured out. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
B’s Sweets
As can be guessed based on the name, B’s Sweets covers a multitude of sweet treats. Custom cakes are her specialty and don’t just take my word for it, check out her portfolio HERE to see for yourself. She is a talented cake artist but she doesn’t stop there, she’s always experimenting and trying new concoctions in the kitchen as well. From cookies to donuts and everything in between, you’ll be sure to find something you love. Currently she has her shop open for parking lot business on the weekends, not inside, to keep everyone safe. I tried a caramel latte cake slice (pictured above) and it was phenomenal. I also enjoyed tasting the many flavors of cake bites she makes. My favorite was the banana chip as well as the lemon. Gluten-free options are also available. I’m just barely scratching the surface of all the goodies she offers, so be sure to check her out for yourself and give your favorite flavors a try. Seriously, whatever your favorite sweet treat flavor is, I’m sure she has it in some form. Your sweet tooth will thank you.
NoBaked
NoBaked originated in Nashville and today there are six stores within the surrounding states. Chattanooga just so happens to have one of these stores. I was able to order the mini jar four pack online and schedule a pick up. I chose the flavors Cookies ‘n Cream, Red Velvet, Strawberry Cheesecake (seasonal), and Cookie Monster. They all tasted amazing but I think the Cookie Monster has to be my favorite. All the cookie doughs offered are dairy free so you can leave them out on the counter if you choose. They also have an ever growing gluten free selection as well. And if you’re not local to any of their stores, you can order online and have some fresh dough delivered right to your door. So now, you have no excuse not to try some NoBaked cookie dough. I can’t wait to go back and try a new seasonal flavor in person when everything opens back up!
That concludes the three Chattanooga sweet treats you can pick-up right now that I have been able to try so far. Chattanooga has many more sweets throughout the city and I can’t wait to try more and share them with you later. Until then, I’ll see y’all Exploring Chatt!
