East Ridge
Jason Drive
Jason Drive is a small loop neighborhood in East Ridge. The entire neighborhood gets together and decorates their yards and even the center park area with tons of decorations and lights. I’ve only visited this display once, but I plan to go again soon because it’s definitely worth the visit.

Bradley Lights
Bradley Lights has become quite popular so be prepared to spend a good amount of time here waiting in line. I have visited this spot for a few years now and it’s definitely one of my favorites for Chattanooga Christmas lights. They suggest for everyone to sit through just a few songs to keep the lines moving in a timely manner. You can even vote to request songs too. Sit in your car and watch or get out and walk around the display to get up close. They always incorporate a way for you to walk through the display as well which is great for selfies and a neat experience.

Soddy Daisy
Soddy Daisy Christmas Lights
The Soddy Daisy Christmas Lights display is extremely popular now as well. Be prepared to wait in line to enjoy the show. People will watch the entire show for usually 15 minutes so you could easily be here a few hours just to see it in full. They say 7:00 – 9:30pm are the busiest times, even on a weeknight. I went around 9:00pm on a Monday night and there was one person in line in front of me. I didn’t stay for the whole show though so that I could let others enjoy it. I want to go back and see the whole thing someday though because it’s actually an orchestrated show with talking Christmas trees, not just random songs.

Ooltewah
Scenic City Lights
Scenic City Lights is a new favorite of mine. I visited for the first time this year and we had the place to ourselves on a Sunday night after 8:00pm. I’m not sure if it’s always less busy though. If it does get busy, hop out of the car. There’s a speaker that will also play the music if you press the white button on the post by the sidewalk. They also have a Halloween light show during the month of October.

Meadow Stream Lights
Meadow Stream Lights is another Christmas light show with some special characters depending on the song. The nice thing about this location is that it’s in a cul-de-sac which makes room for more people. They also have a Halloween light show from October 15th – 31st.

Ooltewah Christmas Lights
Ooltewah Christmas Lights is a static display that’s well worth the visit. They have so many lights on the house, over the driveway, and even across the yard. And to make it even better, they have a mailbox for letters to Santa. Even though there’s no music or dancing lights, I really appreciate the effort of this timeless display for everyone to enjoy.

Colorado Street
This house in Hixson is fully lit with tons of decorations. There isn’t a Facebook page or any way to check the schedule for this location. But if you go anytime in December, leading up to Christmas after it gets dark, and not too late, you should be able to see this festive display. I also recommend driving here via Middle Valley Road from Thrasher Pike because there’s two additional houses on the way that are heavily decorated as well. Feel free to drive to the end of Colorado Street to turn around as it’s a cul-de-sac road.

Hwy 153 and Bonny Oaks
Maywood Lane
This is another house fully decked out with all the lights and decorations you can imagine. And they have a mailbox for letters to Santa! Just like the previous house mentioned above, they don’t have any way to check their schedule. But like before, I believe you’re safe to assume the lights are on all December leading up to Christmas and not too late into the night. There’s not too many other lights in the neighborhood here so you can circle around the way you came or exit through the other neighborhood roads.

Downtown Chattanooga
I cannot complete a list of local Chattanooga Christmas light displays without also mentioning the downtown displays. There are many downtown locations to see Christmas lights. I cover these spots more in-depth in my Christmas in Downtown Chattanooga blog post. I suggest checking out this post and planning to at least see the West Village and EPB Building sections of that post for some great downtown Chattanooga Christmas displays.
